Terms of Service

Last updated: July 23, 2026

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

Reedli is a read-it-later service: you save links, and Reedli stores a clean, readable copy for you to read or listen to later. The service (the app.reedli.com web app, the Reedli mobile app, the Reedli browser extension, and this website) is operated by Rabbit Soft Szymon Krolikiewicz, ul. Jakuba Wujka 7/22, 61-581 Poznań, Poland, NIP 6172082665 ("Reedli", "we"). These terms are a binding agreement between you and us. By creating an account or using the service, you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use Reedli. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.

2. Who may use Reedli

You must be at least 16 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement. You may use Reedli only for personal, non-commercial purposes and only in compliance with applicable law.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date. Tell us at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

4. Saved content and your responsibilities

When you save a link, you instruct Reedli to fetch that page and store a readable copy in your private library, solely for your own personal use. You are responsible for what you save:

  • Save only content you are lawfully entitled to access. Your access to third-party websites remains subject to their own terms.
  • Saved copies are for private reading only. You may not republish, redistribute, or commercially exploit content saved through Reedli.
  • Do not use Reedli to store or share content that is illegal or infringes the rights of others.

Third-party content belongs to its owners. We do not monitor what you save, but we may remove content or restrict access where the law requires it or upon a substantiated notice from a rights holder, and we may pass the responsibility for such content to the user who saved it.

5. License you grant us

You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to fetch, store, process, and display the content you save, solely as needed to provide the service to you. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except where retention is required by law.

6. Our intellectual property

The Reedli apps, website, brand, logo, and design are our property and are protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use our apps for their intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the service, and you may not reverse engineer it except where the law expressly permits.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • break the law or infringe anyone's rights using the service;
  • probe, disrupt, overload, or circumvent the security or technical limits of the service (including rate limits and storage limits);
  • access the service by automated means other than our published apps and interfaces, or resell access to the service;
  • use the service to build a competing dataset or product.

We may set reasonable fair-use limits (for example on save volume or storage) to keep the service healthy for everyone.

8. Free service, paid plans, and subscriptions

Reedli is currently free. We may introduce optional paid plans in the future. If we do:

  • Prices, billing periods, and included features will be clearly shown before you buy. Purchases made through an app store are also subject to that store's terms, and the store handles the payment.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period, using the store's subscription settings or the app.
  • If you are an EU consumer, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. By requesting immediate access to a paid digital service, you agree that we begin performance right away and that, if you withdraw within the 14 days, you owe a proportionate amount for the period already provided.
  • Features included in the free tier may change; we will not remove access to your saved data without the notice described in section 10.

9. Availability and changes to the service

We work hard to keep Reedli fast and reliable, but the service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, and article extraction quality depends on third-party websites we do not control. We may add, change, or remove features. If a change materially reduces the core service you use, we will give you reasonable advance notice by email or in the app. Your data export is always available, so you can take everything with you at any time.

10. Termination

You may stop using Reedli at any time and delete your account directly in the app, which permanently deletes your data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these terms, if the law requires it, or if we discontinue the service; except in cases of serious abuse or legal necessity, we will give you at least 30 days' notice so you can export your data first.

11. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including our liability for intentional misconduct or for consumers' statutory rights. Subject to that, we are liable only for damage caused by our fault, we are not liable for indirect damage or lost profits, and our total liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or 100 EUR. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of third-party websites you save from.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms for valid reasons such as new features, legal requirements, or the introduction of paid plans. For material changes we will notify you by email or in the app at least 14 days before they take effect. If you do not agree with a change, you may terminate your account before it takes effect; continuing to use the service afterwards means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Polish law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protections of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in your own country. We prefer to resolve any issue amicably: write to [email protected] first and we will do our best to sort it out. EU consumers may also contact their local consumer protection bodies.

14. Final provisions

If any provision of these terms is found invalid, the rest remain in effect. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the service. We may assign this agreement as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of the service; you may not assign it without our consent.
